Patisseries
All over the city, espcially in the Gothic area, were Patisseries. They had beautiful displays of chocolate and candy in their windows. Of course that drew us into one and we had two chcolates. One had a cookie type center and was in a circle but bent into a "U" shape. They looked kind of like a saddle. The other chocolate was a dark chocolate coin (but about 3 inches in diameter)with nuts in it. Yummy! Inside that patisserie, there was a lady wrapping hand made chocolate bars. We bought two at the airport (not sure if they were from this place though): one dark chocolate and one with cinnamon. I actaully do not like the cinnamon one at all. It has corn starch in it and is extremely grainy. It doesn't have cinnamon or chocolate flavor, just grainy flavor. It isn't very nice at all but I might be able to bake with it or use it in hot chocolate...
